Jadine "Jade" Maude Neon-Royale

Jadine really lives up to her name. Jadine means jade, and she has jade-green eyes. Maude means battle maid, and Jadine is scared of nothing, and is always ready for a fight. Neon-Royale also suits her, because her clothes are always neon and she is the Duchess of Cambridge’s niece.

She has deep, inspiring green eyes that make her little sister, Esmerelda "Esme" Marleah Neon-Royale, jealous of her. Her blonde, straight and up-to-her-chest hair that is always straightened and she recently got strawberry-pink highlight. She always wears eye shadow, the usual bright-yellow or -blue, and sometimes she wears foundation. Every other make-up part is usually used, but not always. She is 5’1, and is only 13 years old. She looks and acts much older though. Slim and sporty, she has never been on a diet. She hates them, and only uses them is she is ill or feeling sick. She does football, netball, hockey, badminton, cross-country, bleep-tests, gymnastics and every other sport you can think of.

She has two horses to her own, while Esme only has one. All three are Welshes, Esme’s being a Section A, Welsh Mountain Pony, and both Jadine’s are section C and B, Welsh Pony and Welsh Pony of Cob Type. They are called Stoogie, Money Blast and Billy Joe. Stoogie belongs to Esme though. They also have one dog, called Sophia, and she is a golden Labrador, expecting pups. Four chickens names Chicky, Clucky, Catherine and Roly-pops. Jadine was young she she named the last. They have one real cat that they own, a black male called Blinkbeats. They get a lot of ferals, and Esme and Jadine have named at least three (Prince, Princess and Mermaid). Their grandad is a farmer, so they’ve grown up with animals.

Jadine has to live in an appartment in a flat with a pair of loonies, a family of hippies and and old lady who often watches Esme when Miss Neon (or Mum to Jadine and Esme; or Lizzy to the locals). Jadine hates the appartment, so she often catches to bus to her grandparent’s farm. That’s where the horses have to stay, where the cats are now, and sometimes poor Sophia has to go there, but that is very rare. Esme begged Sir Tilsen if they could keep her at the appartment. But while she hates it, she also loves it. In the family of hippies, there is a girl her age called Loretta. Jadine and Loretta are good friends, but have never been in eachother’s rooms. It is forbidden by Sir Tilsen. The pair of loonies are Jackie-Mae and Richard. Their not married yet, but they are the perfect match. They both believe in crazy things, and are just plain nutters. They scare poor Esme.

She loves all neon things. The black dress used to be her Aunty Beldyn’s but it got to small for her aunt. The smiley and hippy earrings and the lips shirt were both Christmas presents from God know who. The Converse boots and Vans slip-ons were birthday presents from Granny May and Grumps. Her bright heels and bright jacket came as a pair, and they were bought with a New Look voucher of £100 given to her when she won the Design Your Fashion competition. The bracelets, bangles and glasses were selective presents from Loretta and her two other best friends, Christine and Sadie-Ann. The orange jeans, the yellow skirt and the anchor pendant were her oldest cousin, Kate’s old stuff that they found in the attic.
